Responsibilities

🎯 Reviews tender documents / requests for proposal to understand project details and requirements.
🎯 Provides detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the drawings as specified In the tender
document
🎯 Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
🎯 Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
🎯 Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents and raise queries for clarifications.
🎯 Compile all documents required for submission.
🎯 Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/ specifications/ scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating.
🎯 To provides timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender and request for proposal duration.
🎯 Communicates and negotiates competitive rates with Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
🎯 Responsible for tender cost estimation, comparison and the preliminary project cost for tender bids and tender
summary for management review
🎯 Lead the QS and responsible for tender cost estimation.
🎯 Attend site visits & Tender interviews.
🎯 Prepare and coordinate the tender interview agenda and presentation materials.
🎯 Liaising with the project team for a smooth transition from tender to Post contract team for tenders awarded
🎯 Coordinating various departments for preparation of project construction plans & schedules, staff, manpower &
equipment deployments, site organization charts, and method statements and other requirements

Requirement:

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of working experience & at least 4-5 years of working experience for Senior hire
• (Optional) Experience in Singapore building construction industry with the Main contractor preferred
• Both Junior and Senior position(s) available
• Proficient in bluebeam and glodon will be a plus.

Salary

$3,000 – $4,500 (Junior)
$4,500 – $6,500 (Senior)
