Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of Mechanical system.
  • Prepare Concept design, detailed design, tender design and issue for construction.
  • Liaise and coordinate with client, other consultants, contractors in development and implementation of the project until completion and advice on technical matters for Mechanical and Electrical related queries.
  • To lead the design team and guide the engineers and draftsman to complete assigned work within deadlines.
  • Ensure cost control, maintain project timeline, manage manpower resources for the project.
  • Prepare and vet drawings plan for submission to all Authorities.
  • Liaise with appointed Mechanical and Electrical PE for all submission to authorities.
  • Attend to site progress meeting and site technical issues.
  • Attend and liaise with authorities for plan approval and site inspection.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of Mechanical and Electrical System.
  • Assist on the tender for all prospective projects

Requirements:

  • Has experience in ACMV Mechanical Building Services Design
  • Has knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, overseeing all procurement and contract administration.
  • Analyze tender documents and prepare detailed cost evaluations and pricing submissions.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow, adjusting projections.
  • Administer contractual matters including progress/ variation claims and subcontract payments.
  • Handle contractual disputes, evaluate claims, and determine entitlement for extensions of time and additional costs.
  • Take full ownership of large-scale projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, amendments, and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely finalization of contracts.
  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project goals and budgets.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and selection exercises based on technical capability and track record.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage vendor relationships to ensure contractual compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering/ Building or related fields
  • Relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
  • A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result oriented
  • Relevant experience with a Main Contractor and leading a team
